Connecticut's new optical scan voting machine is fast, simple, safe and secure. After you check in, you'll be given a paper ballot and offered a privacy folder. Bring those to a privacy booth and fill in the ovals next to your choices using the supplied marker. Review your ballot carefully and thoroughly. If you wish to enter a write-in vote, simply locate the write-in area provided on the ballot. Fill in the bubble and write in your choice. When your ballot is complete, feed it into the scanner face down or face up and you're done. It's that simple.
